The role of stabilizer link

Stabilizer links, also known as sway bar links, anti-roll bars, or link stabilizers, connect a vehicle’s suspension to its stabilizer bar, or anti-roll bar, to help keep the vehicle stable and improve handling

Stabilizer links are made up of two ball joints and rubber joints attached to the ends of a connecting rod. Worn-out bushings or ball joints can cause more play in the link, which can lead to clunking or rattling noises near the tire area at low speeds. A damaged or failed stabilizer link can also cause unnecessary stress to other suspension parts and make driving uncomfortable for the driver and passengers.
